Today we’re launching Rotalabs, the research division of Rota, Inc.
Why Rotalabs?
Trust decisions are everywhere. When a bank approves a transaction, when an AI agent’s output is verified, when a network configuration is deployed-these all share common structure. The question is always: should I trust this?
We believe the science of trust decisions is underdeveloped. Most systems either use rigid rules (fast but miss sophisticated attacks) or expensive AI (smart but costly). The optimal approach combines both-routing each decision to the cheapest layer that can handle it.
What We’re Releasing
Four research papers on arXiv covering:
- Field-Theoretic Memory Systems (FTMS)
- Verified Synthesis (Verity)
- Adversarial Evolution (Red Queen)
- Trust Cascade Theory
Ten open-source projects implementing our research, all MIT or Apache licensed.
Benchmarks including DistSynth-50 for verified code generation.
What’s Next
We’re actively researching sparse trust circuits, graph trust propagation, and agent memory security. We’ll be submitting to NeurIPS 2026 and KDD 2026.
